A new 140,000 square foot facility that accommodates 1,000 students from kindergarten through 12th grade on one site was completed in the spring of 2009. The facility was designed to incorporate future additions that would enlarge the facility to over 160,00 square feet for 1,300 students. Grades K through 5 are separated from grades 6 through 12 with a shared core area of administration, media, and cafeteria, which reduces administration costs.Also included on the site are two gymnasiums, two music rooms and art suites, technology and special education classrooms and three vocational education suites. With all of the latest technology incorporated, the new facility provides Miller County with a state-of-the-art school that made the most effective use of their budget.
