This new 74,000 square foot building is scheduled to open summer of 2010. It is a one-story elementary school for 580 students. The forward-thinking design utilizes daylight harvesting to enable the school to conserve energy and help improve quality of interior environment. The space requirements include a physical education facility, media center, kitchen/cafeteria, administration area, art and music suites, computer and special education classrooms, and pre-K classrooms. New, modern furnishings were specified to enhance the overall environment and provide adaptability within the classrooms. Photography was used as a method of way-finding tool throughout the school.
