A new high school to open in the fall of 2008, the Brooks County High School is a uniquely designed building which provides a modern learning environment within each instructional unit. The building shape follows the contours of the site to minimize grading, and is strategically placed to take advantage of northern light.
The school will also be used for communty functions and was designed with that in mind. With a large spectator gymnasium, a large entry and cafeteria adjacent for use as an atrium and meeting hall the school will be a valuable asset to the community. |
