A new 140,000 square foot facility that will have kindergarten through 12th grades on one site is currently under construction. The design will service 1,000 students, however it was designed to incorporate future additions, to enlarge the facility to over 160,000 square feet to accommodate 1,300 students. Grades K through 5 are separated from grades 6 through 12 with a shared core area of administration, media, and cafeteria, which reduces administration costs.
Also included on the site are two gymnasiums, two music rooms and art suites, technology and special education classrooms and three vocational education suites. With all of the latest technology incorporated, the new facility will provide Miller County with a state-of-the-art school that made the most effective use of their budget.
