Take a look at our completed projects below.

Albany, GA

This project is multi‐faceted in that it includes renovations and additions as well as combining lower and upper campuses to create one main K‐12 campus. The building program included renovations, modifications, and additions to the existing 6‐12 school as well as a new wing for K‐5 grades. In order to accommodate the increase in students, a new cafeteria and media center building was also added. New ceilings and lighting were added for all existing classrooms. Daylighting technology was utilized in the new Cafeteria and Media Center with the use of daylight roof monitors which provide filtered light into main spaces to reduce the amount of electric lighting needed, in turn reducing the cooling loads.

Albany, GA

Originally built in 1959, this elementary school was badly in need of an upgrade. SRJ planned and executed a complex renovation of the school with a new two-story classroom wing, new physical education building, media center and administration area. The renovations were completed in phases while the school was fully occupied.

The result was a more welcoming, flexible and attractive school; essentially a brand new, state-of-the-art learning facility, for a fraction of the expenditure of building from the ground up.

Ft. Valley, GA & Byron, GA

These two new 92,278 square foot elementary schools were designed for the Peach County School System. Each of the new schools services 867 students. The new sites include a physical education facility, media center, kitchen and cafeteria, administration areas, art and music suites, computer and special education classrooms, and K-5 classrooms.

Classrooms were designed larger than state-mandated size, allowing additional space to incorporate computers into each classroom without taking away instructional space. Every classroom is equipped with the latest technology, including interactive white boards.
