This new 76-acre K-12 campus was designed to replace all the school system’s existing academic facilities. A centralized administration and communal core creates a division between the different age groups, with the capacity for 1190 students. The Competition Gymnasium has a viewing walkway that is accessible from the ground level. North facing daylight monitors in both gymnasiums allow for natural lighting while reducing energy cost associated with artificial lighting. The cafeteria has a moveable wall to create separation between the different age groups, but still allow ability to be opened to provide a large space for assemblies. Along with the new K-12 school building are new athletic facilities, including two new baseball fields, a softball field, tennis courts, new track, and new football field.

A new 112,600 square foot facility that accommodates 600 students from kindergarten through 12th grade on one site was completed in the Summer of 2021. Grades K through 5 are separated from grades 6 through 12 with a shared core area of administration, media, and cafeteria, which reduces administration costs.
Also included on the site are two gymnasiums, music room, technology and special education classrooms, Votech. education suite, and a new Robotics Lab. With all of the latest technology incorporated, the new facility provides Calhoun County with a state-of-the-art school that made the most effective use of their budget.

The scope of this project was a new 2-story addition to an existing elementary school for a special-needs alternative school.
This addition included an automatic sprinkler system, LED lighting, an elevator, and the latest technology. We assisted the Owner in selecting the classroom furniture, Sensory Lab equipment, and Administration furniture. A secondary drop-off/pick up area was created and additional playgrounds installed.
